I live in Columbus, Ohio with my family and a joyful chaos of pets. For over twenty years, I’ve worked in the nonprofit sector, confronting injustice and uplifting underrepresented voices. That work shapes everything I write. I am drawn to the places where systems fail people, where love and grief collide, and where questions of identity, free will, and mortality refuse to stay quiet.

I write emotionally resonant speculative fiction and horror, and I also create art inspired by my stories and characters. The drawings and photography on this site are my own and another way of bringing these people and worlds to life.
